Placeholder. Not legal advice. Not an adopted policy.
Privacy
Counsel has not written a privacy policy for MetisShield. Do not treat this page as one. It only describes what the website does today, so the placeholder is not fiction.
The marketing pages are static. They do not set analytics cookies, and they do not embed third-party advertising. Fonts are files shipped with the site, not a call to a font service.
The assessment form asks for a name, a work email, a firm name, a headcount, an industry, the mail platform, an optional note, and consent to be contacted. A hidden field is a spam trap and is discarded. Repeated posts from the same address are refused. On a developer machine, a valid submission is appended to data/submissions.ndjson. The production handler does not store or forward anything unless the server’s ASSESSMENT_DESTINATION variable is set to a file path or an HTTPS endpoint that MetisShield operates. That variable is not in this repository. The site does not send the form to a form vendor.
Do not put client, patient, or taxpayer files in the form. The site is not a place for those records.
MetisShield LLC is a placeholder until the company is formed. A real policy needs a legal entity, a contact address, retention periods, and whatever notices the states where Ed actually does business require. Those facts are not settled.
